Being a SUPPORTER does NOT require a donation. However, all that we accomplish depends on the support of caring people like you.

I hereby request that the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) and U.S. Forest Service (USFS) put a 3-year hold on removals of Wild Horses & Burros from the Spring Mountain Complex west of Las Vegas and allow the Spring Mountain Alliance to:
  • Reduce wild horse & burro birth rates and improve adoption of 1-2 year-old animals while preserving stable family & bachelor bands that offer the most natural and interesting behaviors for visitors.
  • Allow the Alliance to protect environmentally sensitive areas with fencing, viewing hides, road pull-outs, etc.
  • Fast-track the BLM tour approval process that currently works against eco-tour development.
  • Allow the Alliance to improve public viewing opportunities to free-roaming Wild Horses & Burros for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, tourists and tour companies.
  • Develop a state-of-the art, multi-spectral camera census of actual numbers on the range.
  • Support regular, scientific analysis of the carrying capacity for all Spring Mountain wildlife including deer, elk, bighorn sheep, wild horses, burros etc. and create scholarships for long-term behavioral analysis of free-roaming horses and burros.
